Worship

Worship at First Congregational

Worship is the central act of our common life as a church. We gather in the presence of the Living God to be transformed by that presence. At First Congregational, we offer two distinct opportunities for worship.

New Creation worship at 9 a.m. is incredibly varied and offers nontraditional forms of worship. Drama, contemporary music and dance are just some of the ways we worship. “You never know what will happen this week,” said one worshipper.

Traditional worship at 11 a.m. offers challenging and thoughtful preaching along with magnificent music. We meet in our beautiful New England style sanctuary and sing the classic hymns. Our style is traditional but our thinking is not.
