E-mail Epistle for May 31, 2012
REFLECTIONS
The conversations have started. Some of you have already begun to share you thoughts regarding the scripture and worship planning for our Common Worship Service.
Thank you!!
Keep it coming! There is so much to learn and discover.
Remember, you may
• Comment on Facebook
• Respond by email to the scriptures and questions in the Colony
• Respond to the scriptures listed in Sunday’s bulletin
• Come to the Lectionary Conversations on Wednesday mornings at 10:00 a.m.
(Remember, these are conversations. Come when you can. Many will be out of town some days and in other days. That will be just fine. Each week is a separate event)
The comments and conversations will be shared with the worship planning team and from all the insights shared, the team will create worship for Sunday morning.
Join the conversation and join us for worship each Sunday as we discover how God is being revealed in our daily lives.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
Tony Verhage is no longer able to work as our interim custodian. Until new cleaning services can be contracted, we need help cleaning bathrooms, taking out trash, vacuuming, etc. Wendy Baldwin will be cleaning this Saturday at 9 a.m. and would be grateful to have some helping hands.
Sunday worship is led by our children and youth. A team has creatively planned the service “God is Still Speaking through the Seven Seasons of the Church.” The service will be in the Mayflower room at 10:30 a.m. Our graduating seniors: Lindsey Hummel and Quinn Andrews will be honored. Our youth and children have incorporated their yearlong focus of Still Speaking Ministry and the church seasons into a meaningful worship service that you won’t want to miss.
Youth and Children should arrive at 9 am for rehearsal, and Gathering time is at 9 am with breakfast coffee and refreshments.
During the 9:30 a.m. Education hour, Encounters, Critical Conversations and Faith and Reason will meet. At Faith and Reason, Felix Ortiz-Cotto, Executive Director of Global Ministries for Latin America/Caribbean will speak on the topic of the Central American Ministries in which our church has participated in Nicaragua.
